Home School Link and Early Help Support at Brooklands

🌱 Brooklands School Early Help Offer

At Brooklands School, we are committed to supporting every child and family. Our Early Help Offer is designed to provide timely, tailored support to help children thrive emotionally, socially, and academically. We work in partnership with families, professionals, and the wider community to ensure that every child has the opportunity to succeed.

🧩 What is Early Help?

Early Help is about identifying and responding to needs as soon as they emerge. It can be provided at any point in a child’s life and is designed to prevent issues from escalating. At Brooklands, Early Help is part of our whole-school approach to wellbeing and inclusion.

🧠 Our Early Help Support Pathways

We offer a graduated response to meet the needs of our pupils and families:

  • Health Team Advice: Access to school nurse and health professionals
  • Extra OT Input: Universal occupational therapy support bought into school

🔹 Targeted Support (For Identified Needs)

  • Behaviour Team: In-school support for emotional regulation and behaviour strategies, this includes collaborative working between the school ELSA and behaviour leads at both sites.
