Ocean Class
Within Ocean class we have 10 children, 5 boys and 5 girls.
We follow the Brookland's Blue curriculum which you can read about on the "Blue curriculum" page.
We have a teacher, an LTA and four TAs to help us to learn.
Our favourite activities in Ocean class are Irresistible Inputs, Read, Write, Inc, PE, community time, music and playing outside.
Each day in Ocean class we begin by finding out about the day ahead by looking at our visual timetable and finding out how we are feeling. Every day we practise our letter sounds which leads into our Read, Write Inc. phonics programme. Our core subjects are taught through Topic based activities, we cover Science, IT, RE, Maths, Literacy, PE, Art and PSHE.
To make each week even more fun filled we have swimming and soft play.
