Orange Class

Welcome to Orange Class!

There are 6 children in Orange Class. There are 2 girls and 4 boys.

We have 5 adults to help us learn.

In Orange class we have very individualised learning programmes that predominantly focus on SCERTS. We have learning breaks throughout the day to help regulate us so that we can focus on our learning.

We are supported with our communication needs by the Speech and Language Team.

Orange Class Timetable

Here is the theme planner for this term.

Our theme - Houses & Homes/Town & Country

Our theme for the second half of the Autumn term is Houses and Homes and Town and Country. This theme will be worked on during the class walk when the children have the opportunity to look at different styles of houses. We will also be working on naming different aspects of houses e.g. rooms in a house, equipment used, furniture etc.

Home Learning Suggestions

  • Watch Mr Tumble and other TV programmes in the planner
  • Google Bearfoot Books for some of the theme books set to music
  • Read some of the suggested books
  • Go for a walk
  • Visit a farm and 'pick-your-own'

Keep looking at the website as we will add more ideas
