Orange Class

Welcome to Orange Class!

There are 6 children in Orange Class. There are 2 girls and 4 boys.

We have 5 adults to help us learn.

In Orange class we have very individualised learning programmes that predominantly focus on SCERTS. We have learning breaks throughout the day to help regulate us so that we can focus on our learning.

We are supported with our communication needs by the Speech and Language Team.

Orange Class Timetable

Here is the theme planner for this term.

Our theme - Habitats

Our theme for the first half of the Autumn term is Habitats. Through this theme the children will learn about about where animals and other creatures live. They will be doing this by exploring different regions on Earth. We are starting the term by exploring a seaside environment then moving on to discovering the jungle. The themes going through the unit are based on different books which are all on the class planner.

Home Learning Suggestions

  • Go out to the garden and see and maybe collect some bugs
  • Explore the main themes of the unit e.g. play with ice cubes, listen to the sounds of nature
  • See what you can find under rocks and logs
  • Google Bearfoot Books for some of the theme books set to music

Keep looking at the website as we will add more ideas
